I worked with Kenny for 24 years at Don Honds
He was one of the nicest guys I have known. He was always friendly and helpful. The type
of person we should all hope to be. Kenny was
also one of the true American Heroes for his
brave service in WWII. May Kenny rest in the peace he fought to keep.

    A MOMENT AT DAYBREAK
    A pale pink rosebud
    trembles in the summer wind
    shaking dew from its petals.

    A monarchGÇÖs tiny perch
    to welcome the coming dawnGÇÖs
wispy blush across a muted sky.

    Caught by the gentle breeze,
the butterfly floats from its perch
to be swallowed by the morning light.

He too floats upward towards the light,
and we will meet him around the bend.

Our deepest condolences – he was truly a wonderful man.

Just read of Ken’s passing. Such a loss for your family. You may not remember me but I am a cousin. We used to have some good times as our families got together. Also later saw him now & then at Ford. I will be thinking of you and remembering you in prayer.

I did not know Mr. Chance, after reading and hearing about his life story, I wish I had. I was moved by his decorated service to our country in WWll. I am grateful for young me like him. I see he grew up the same man, married for over 60 years. May God Bless his family with only the best memories of Staff Sergeant Chance.
